Today’s one of those crazy busy days with deadlines and meetings that kind of make me feel like never getting out of bed in the morning.
Gotta keep in mind what motivates me.
…Because I do!
I spent the better part of last night making basically a picture of myself on fire, then at some point I stopped and realized how odd my life is at times. I followed this very helpful tutorial. Judging from my before and after, you might guess that the first step is to take a very unflattering picture of yourself- and you may be right.
But in all seriousness, I’m so lucky to work with such fun clients who let me really play with our assignments. It’s a bit kooky, but it’s a great way to make a living. I’m so excited to put this image to use for a client- stay tuned!
Hello there!
Although I had vowed to spend as much time as I could on my couch last weekend, it proved to be a busy time, punctuated with lots of work! Which is good. I am so lucky to have so many great clients at the moment, and my creative muscles are definitely getting quite a stretch!
(I did, however, manage to eat pretty well)
Given all the quality computer time, though, I also set aside quite a few links for today’s post. Here you go:
The other day I was lucky enough to have a client with delicious food who needed more pictures.
This was one of the best breakfasts of my life. If you’re in the Portland area, I cannot recommend the Circa 33 weekend brunch enough. For more images of this feast, visit my portfolio!
It’s been a little while since I’ve done any outfit posts, and frankly it’s not because I haven’t had cute outfits. (Just kidding. But I have been really busy 🙂
Today’s outfit was inspired a bit by Minnie Mouse. I love that polka-dots are in fashion, obviously. And I also happen to love reds in the fall. This outfit is a combination of both, perfect for meeting up with a client at a coffee shop, or heading to my more corporate gig out in LO.
Now if only I could convince myself to act a little more corporate and less goofy…
