This red sweater was a birthday gift I got myself, and with the cold weather we’ve been having in Portland, I’m so glad I did! It’s the perfect mix of work appropriate, warm and comfy. It sometimes borders on maternity-esque, which to be honest is one of the reasons I love it. That and the color, of course. I’ve got a real thing for red clothes of late.

Speaking of warm… if you’ve seen me out and about town lately, this is most likely what I’ve been wearing. It’s been coooooold in Portland, and this toasty BB Dakota coat is nice and long, with an excellent hood that fits even my large head.

This post marks my first clothing shoot with a tripod I got for Christmas! And while it felt a little goofy lugging the equipment outside, it felt much less goofy than asking one of my roommates to shoot a picture of me over and over until I feel like I’ve finally gotten a not-so-awkward shot.
