It’s been pretty quiet around here lately.

Partly because I’ve been pretty busy- enjoying the sunshine, spending time with friends and family, and working. Mostly that last one. You see, in addition to my freelance work lately, I’ve been challenged and inspired and challenged some more at my other gig, working for a nonprofit.

Oh, you didn’t know I also happen to hold down a part-time position as Marketing Coordinator for a local nonprofit in the health care industry? That has been pretty intentional on my part- I like to keep a certain degree of separation between my other job and this space as a creative outlet. But now my worlds are mixing and mingling and the line dividing them isn’t so clear anymore.

So I’ve been going through some career growing pains.

The thing I keep coming back to is that I love my work. I get to do things that challenge and inspire me. And I’m so happy and unbelievably lucky to be doing them!

So I’ll be back next week with projects, witticisms (or attempts) and a dash of frivolity.
